Feature by feature

Everything Expensorr does, in plain language.

No feature list padding. This is what is actually in the app today, and what each part is for — including the things it deliberately does not do.

AI receipt scanning

Photograph a paper receipt or upload an invoice and the app extracts the fields you would otherwise type. You always review the result before it is saved.

  • Amount, currency, date, merchant, notes and a category suggestion
  • JPG, PNG, HEIC, HEIF, PDF, DOC, and DOCX files supported
  • The original file stays attached to the transaction
  • Every field is editable on the review screen

Voice expense capture

Hold the mic and say the expense the way you would tell a friend. Useful when your hands are full and a receipt does not exist.

  • Understands spoken amounts, currencies and payment methods
  • Turns one sentence into a structured, editable transaction
  • Ideal for cash spends, tips, autos and street food

Wallets and balances

Money does not live in one place, so the app does not pretend it does. Each wallet keeps its own currency and balance, updated as you log.

  • Cash, cards and bank accounts as separate wallets
  • Per-wallet currency and a default wallet for fast entry
  • Balances recalculated on every save, edit and delete
  • Import existing history from CSV, XLSX, and XLS files and map your own columns

Budgets that show up before you overspend

Budgets recur and are scoped to the wallet and category that matter, so the number you see is about the money you are actually about to spend.

  • Recurring monthly budgets per category and wallet
  • Progress visible while you log, not only in a report
  • Remaining amount and percentage used at a glance

Splits and settlements

Split a transaction with other people at the moment you log it, and keep the settlement status attached to the expense instead of in a chat thread.

  • Split any transaction across several people
  • Reuse recent groups instead of retyping names
  • Track who has settled and who still owes

75 currencies, for real travel

A trip should not corrupt your yearly numbers. Expensorr stores the original amount, the rate used and the converted total on the transaction itself.

  • Log in the currency you actually paid in
  • Conversion rate saved with the record, not recalculated later
  • Reports stay comparable across countries

Labels, attachments and reminders

The small things that decide whether you still use a tracker in month three.

  • Your own categories and labels for trips, projects or clients
  • Receipts and invoices attached for warranties and reimbursements
  • Recurring payments detected and flagged before they hit
  • Reports by category, wallet, label and month

What Expensorr does not do

Stated plainly, so you find out here rather than after installing it.

Expensorr does not connect to your bank. Transactions are added by scanning, voice, import, or manual entry.

Expensorr does not file taxes or submit returns. It keeps records; your accountant or tax software does the filing.

Expensorr has no team accounts, employee roles, or approval workflows. It is built for one person, not a finance department.
